Jiaxing Tongao Biochar Project — first issuance of 918 tCO₂
Certified on Tongao Group's Jiaxing biochar facility — Asia's 4th company certified by Puro.earth (June 2025). Project development and certification now run through Tongao Greenchar.
Carbon Standards International (Global C-Sink Registry)
Xiuzhou Tongao Biochar Project — China's first CSI-certified biochar carbon-removal project
Developed by Tongao Greenchar, the group's joint venture with GreenChar Climate Solutions, and registered on the Global C-Sink Registry operated by Carbon Standards International.

Tongao Greenchar

The carbon arm — a joint venture between Tongao Group and GreenChar Climate Solutions. Responsible for international project development, certification, dMRV and carbon-credit offtake.

All current and future carbon projects are developed and certified through Tongao Greenchar, working across Puro.earth, Carbon Standards International (Global C-Sink) and Isometric. The Xiuzhou CSI project is the flagship.
